Emerald Ash Borer
THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This small green beetle from China threatens to kill all native Ash trees in North America. Arbormectin, whose active ingredient is Emamectin benzoate, has been found to be the most effective tool in protecting Ash trees from the Emerald Ash Borer. This is borne out by University studies in the hardest hit areas of Michigan and northern Ohio. Treatment is by trunk injection (See below) and is effective for 2 years.
